Das Björkfors Kano & Kayak Hostel liegt genau zwischen zwei wunderschönen Seen, dem Björkern und dem Åsunden. Hier können sie innerhalb einer familiären Atmosphäre eine Kombination aus Kultur, Wäldern und Seen erholsame Ferien genießen. Der schöne Åsunden See bietet unzählige kleine Inseln auf welchen man campieren kann. Sollten sie eine Kanutour auf dem Kinda Kanal oder dem Stångån unternehmen, haben sie die Möglichkeit den See Åsunden auf ihrer Paddeltour zu erkunden. Hier bieten sich eine Menge Gelegenheiten zum Kanufahren, die Natur zu erleben und unter Umständen den ein oder andern Elch zu beobachten.
Wir kennen verschieden Kanutouren auf welchen man zwischen einem Tag oder einer ganzen Woche unterwegs sein kann. Auch für Familien kennen wir geeignete Strecken. In der Nähe von unserem Björkfors Hostel finden sich verschiedene Naturreservate, und weiter interessante Plätze. Ebenso können sie von unserem familiären und gemütlichen Herberge zu Wander-, Fahrrad- oder Sightseeing- Touren aufbrechen.

Björkfors Canoe/kayak and Hostel is located between the two beautiful lakes "Björkern and Åsunden"

With the culture, forest and lakes, it is a wonderful place to enjoy a holiday. The Åsunden lake is beautiful with many small island were you can camp and it is allso connected to the "Kinda kanal" and the river "Stångån". It offers great opportunities for canoeing and perhaps you may spot a moose. We have different route's you can paddle from 1 day to a whole week. Close to our hostel you can find different nature reservs and many interesting places to visit so you can also go hiking, cykling or sigtseeïng from our nice and cosy hostel.

	You can rent a (Canadian) canoe		You can rent a kayak
	Guided canoe trips are possible.		Shuttle service. Canoe- Shuttle. Transport service. Pick up service available to be picked up or bring up at certain points
	A camp ground with sanitary facilities available		It is possible to rent a cabin or a Stugor. Possibly even a single room.
	The canoe rental also offers food and drinks.		There are also fishing trips available or it is possible to rent fishing equipment
	The canoe rental companies also offer dog sled tours		Other outdoor activities like Archery, elk safaris are also offered
	Family- friendly canoe tours are known. Also suitable for children.		Canoeing courses in the program. Introduction to basic paddling techniques for beginners as well as advanced users.
	The organizer also offers rafting trips. Rafting groups by appointment		It is possible to buy canoeing, kayaking and outdoor accessories.
	It is possible that flights by seaplane can be organized. Transport of canoes by appointment.		Organisation of helicopter flying. Transport to remote rivers and lakes for canoeing, fishing and rafting trips.
	Fishing tours (on request also guided) could be organized. Fishing lessons. Fishing licenses on request		Cross-country skiing and ski tours can be carried out. On request, equipment rental.
	Bicycles can be rented. Bicycle tours for mountain bikes are known.		Hiking and trekking. Walking tours are close to the canoe rental area.
	Sauna is available at the base camp or in the rentable cabins.		Special snowshoe tours possible. With known guide or stretching.
