The people behind CanoeGuide.net are no fulltime adventurers, travel lecturers or survival experts and be assured, we have never served the Special Forces. This canoeing guide was born out of our personal interests and passion and is purely meant to spread information on canoe tours and great canoeing areas in Scandinavia, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Canada and Alaska. During these last few years we have spent many holidays and weekends in a canoe and we believe everyone should at least once in their lives spend a few days with a boat and a fishing rod in free nature.
